BEFORE RESERVATION

I do not have a credit card. Can I ask my friend to pay?

Yes. Please note that in case of cancellation responsible person for payment is the owner of the credit card that paid deposit. Owner of the credit card agrees with our Terms and Conditions and cancellation policy, automatically after confirming the reservation.

How can I send the deposit,
without paying extra charge to the bank?

If you pay by credit card, you will pay only 4% of card handling fee which is much less that transfering money by bank.

Can I pay via Western Union?

Unfortunately we do not accept that kind of payment anymore. It is the most expensive way of payment for the guest. Instead we offer you secure payment by credit card.

Can I make a reservation and pay upon arrival?

It is possible to notify us of your arrival and not pay deposit, however, the agency then cannot guarantee the availability of the required accommodation until your arrival, nor can we guarantee the availability of any accommodation during the peak season. Payment of deposit grants the priority of reservation to the guest.

Upon the payment of deposit the agency guarantees and keeps particular accommodation unit available just for you.

If you use credit card for payment, the deposit payable is only 20% of the reservation total. The balance is paid upon arrival, directly to the host.

Therefore, the reservation is, by all means, the safest way to ensure that your reserved accommodation is waiting for you and that you will enjoy your stay. In the unlikely event of unforeseen problems with the accommodation previously reserved, (vis majeur), the agency guarantees replacement accommodation of the same or higher grade.

Why pay now if I can arrive on the spot,
call you and make a reservation?

You can do this. However, in our past experience we have had a great number of desperate guests who, due to no accommodation available, had to wander around town, sometimes late into the night, in order to find any sort of accommodation, and ending up in a hotel, which was twice as expensive. By reserving your accommodation you are signing a contract with us which then legally guarantees your contracted rental. In addition, we do not charge commission.

AFTER RESERVATION

We have been told that you did not receive the correct amount, but we paid the right amount + bank commission.

Yes, we belive you paid the right amount + banks charges which is absolutely OK. But in the process of receiving the amount our bank also charged commission.

Advice: As we said in description Methods of Payment, you need to instruct the bank to pay all the possible costs or if paying via the internet banking service, choose charges options: OUR.

I have been told by the bank that you would receive the payment witin 4 days, but we are coming tomorrow?

Right. That is why we ask you to send us a scanned copy of the payment receipt by email on booking@pekas.info. It is written in the Confirmation Reservation or in Quote (Offer). By that we can send you Voucher that finally confirms your reservation for tomorrow.

What is a Voucher?

Voucher is your final confirmation. We send it to you after we receive your payment. In Voucher you will get the address of the accommodation reserved and the host\'s contact number you need to call or sms at least 1 hour prior to the arrival.

We cannot find the address of accommodation?

After we receive your payment, we will send you the Voucher with address of the accommodation and contact of the host. If we got your payment very late, we will send you the Voucher by email + SMS on your mobile if needed with the address of the accommodation and the host\'s number.

Where can we get the keys to the apartment?

After reservation, you will be asked to contact the host at least 1 hour before your arrival. The host will wait for you in accommodation and give you the keys.

I pay more if I use an agency
due to the commission they charge, right?

pekas.info tourist agency charges no commission for their mediation services in the rental of apartments on offer!

It is customary for an agency to charge commission, particularly those not based in the destination where you are travelling. The advantage of using an agency is that an agency offers a certain degree of safety and a larger pool of accommodation options than when you attempt to contact proprietors individually, which can be very unreliable.

However, the situation here is rather different. We guarantee that the price you pay to us for apartment is the same as the price you would pay the proprietor of accommodation. Amazing, isn\'t it?

I  made the reservation successfully and paid the deposit by credit card, but did not get the confirmation on my email?

It is possible. You probably entered the wrong email address or there are some problems with receiving emails in your inbox (full inbox,  problems with your email server...).  If you see that there is no email from us after you made reservation, please contact us immediately. We will need your second email address, so please contact us from another email address.

I have completed the booking, how can I get the address of accommodation?

Soon after you have proceeded with the payment of deposit, you will receive the Voucher with the address of the accommodation and the host\'s contact number. Please wait for a few hours and we will get back to you with the Voucher that finnaly confirms your reservation.

What kind of procedure I can expect once I arrive to the accommodation?

Once you arrive to the accommodation and meet the host (the owner), you need to be informed about accommodation. The host needs to show you the space, tell you some specific conditions or you can simply read the houserules that are usually hanged on the door.

If you are paying some remaining amount and you need a receipt the host must give you the receipt for the specific amount if you ask him. If you paid to agency total amount, we can send you the receipt by email.

Also the host will need some travel or personal documents (such as passport, ID...) from all the guests in order to report it to the Police and Tourist board as it is procedure under the Croatian law. They take your documents just to rewrite details on the registration form and are giving documents back to you.

Pricelist must be visible in accommodation. If you are staying in apartments check the price, you can see that the prices are exactly the same as you paid per night.

Not every host lives in the building where is accommodation, so please contact the host at least 1 hour prior to your arrival. Check in time is usually from noon or 1pm. Check out time is until 10am or 11am. Check this information with the host.

I got your Invoice or Voucher, but cannot open it?

We create a Voucher and Receipt (Invoice) in .pdf format to be uneditable. It is necessary to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You can download it here.

We are coming with 2 children, is there any discount?

Yes, it is free of charge for children up to 2 years old in majoriti of our accommodation.

We strongly suggest you to send us inquiry by email (we could than offer you more suitable accommodation) with all specified details such as: do you need cot for the babies, how old are the children exactly, who is leeping with parents in the same bed and who is sleeping on separate bed... etc...
